CtP - Computer-to-Plate

A process adaptation of a computer-to-plate system includes a quality control check and the individual adaptation of the respective printing conditions on site. This may be an adaptation of the standard under PSO or also to a “house standard”. It is important that the same quality can be implemented reproducibly for all quality-relevant printing presses.

The quality controls are carried out according to the criteria of the CtP certification guide, for example, but to a lesser extent. Customer wishes and requirements on site play an important role here.
